Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: August 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your use of Main's World on mains.world, mainsworld.org, and Main's World within World App (together, the Service). The Service is operated by Pixel Potion Creative LLC ("Pixel Potion," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Austin, Texas, USA. Contact us at hello@mains.world.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT ARBITRATION, CLASS ACTION, AND JURY-TRIAL NOTICE: Section 11 requires most disputes to be resolved through binding individual arbitration and includes class-action and jury-trial waivers. You may opt out within 30 days as described in Section 11.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, and meet any higher age or eligibility requirement that applies where you live or through World. You are responsible for complying with applicable law.

Main's World depends on World App, World ID, World Chain, and related services. Your use of those services is separately governed by the current World User Terms, World Privacy Notice, and the provider terms and privacy notices identified in the World ID legal center. Those terms control your use of the applicable World service. If you are not permitted to use a required World service, you may not be able to use Main's World.

2. The Service and your account

Main's World is a place to create, share, and discover moments, including in SKY, LAND, DEEP, and Vibes where available. Features, access, and availability may change, be limited, or end. We do not promise that every feature will be available in every place or at every time.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, wallet, and devices. Keep your credentials and special-link secrets private, and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, including moments, media, comments, reactions, and profile material. To operate the Service, you give Pixel Potion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce as technically necessary, display, moderate, and make your content available according to the visibility and sharing features you choose. This license lasts only as long as reasonably needed to provide those features and meet associated safety, security, and legal obligations.

We do not sell your content. You can edit or delete content through available features. We do not maintain a separate archive of deleted content, but deletion cannot erase records written to a public blockchain, and provider backups or security records may take a limited time to age out or may remain where law requires.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to share your content and that doing so does not violate these Terms, the law, or another person's rights.

Visibility settings matter. SKY is public and can include precise location. For LAND, an unauthorized viewer may see only a locked, approximately 110-meter location hint without the author's identity or the moment's content; authorized LAND viewers receive the full view, including precise location. DEEP provides no location hint to unauthorized viewers. Authorized Vibe viewers and valid special-link holders receive the complete view allowed for that exact content. Do not assume public sharing is anonymous or that a location cannot be inferred from other details in a post.

A special link is a scoped bearer secret for a complete read-only view of its exact Moment or Vibe. Depending on that content, the view can include precise location, comments, otherwise non-public Vibe moments, and a privacy-trimmed RunPal route or GPX. A signed-out Vibe-link holder remains a read-only guest. An authenticated holder of an exact Vibe link may automatically join that Vibe after server validation. Except for that exact-link authenticated Vibe auto-join, special links grant no other write access: posting, commenting, reacting, and other actions still require the applicable account and authorization.

Special links may be issued for 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days (7 days by default). Vibe links cannot run beyond 24 hours after the event ends. Links can be revoked, expire, and are invalidated when the underlying content is deleted. Treat a special-link secret like an API key or private invitation, and do not post one publicly when its content is sensitive.

5. Safety, AI review, and moderation

SKY is a broad public-facing audience. SKY-bound posts, edits, and comments are subject to mandatory automated or AI-assisted review of submitted text and supported images. The review is currently provided with Anthropic's Claude and is designed to reduce exposure to sexual or explicit material, hate, graphic violence or gore, clearly illegal content, and content the system cannot confidently clear for SKY. The gate fails closed when the review is unavailable, so it may block public placement; LAND or DEEP may remain available where the content is otherwise lawful and authorized.

SKY also rejects provenance-declared or high-confidence AI-generated images. These signals are imperfect: they may miss generated images or incorrectly flag genuine ones, so a refusal applies to SKY placement rather than proving how an image was made.

An administrator can review a refusal and may override a false positive for a new post. There is currently no user-facing appeal feature. You may still email hello@mains.world with a moderation question, but we do not promise that an email will result in review or restoration.

The privacy assistant is separate from SKY moderation. It gives advisory, sometimes strong warnings about possible homes, children, bystanders, documents, license plates, or identity and location exposure. Those warnings do not block posting.

We may remove content, limit features, reverse rewards where operationally possible, suspend or terminate access, or take other reasonable action when we believe it is necessary to protect people, the Service, or legal rights.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • break the law or facilitate illegal activity;
  • abuse, exploit, threaten, harass, or promote hateful conduct toward others;
  • create or distribute nonconsensual intimate material or child sexual abuse or exploitation material;
  • create a dangerous risk of physical harm;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • deceive, impersonate, spam, manipulate engagement, or misrepresent content;
  • introduce malware, probe or abuse security controls, scrape without authorization, or interfere with the Service;
  • dox people, invade privacy, or expose personal information without a lawful basis and appropriate permission; or
  • manipulate credits, $MAIN rewards, referrals, or other incentive systems, including self-rewarding or abusive activity.

7. Credits, $MAIN, and payments

Credits are nontransferable in-app utility features with no cash value. Where available, $MAIN is intended as a reward and utility feature; it is not offered as an investment, and no return, price, value, liquidity, transferability, availability, redemption, or access in any jurisdiction is promised. Digital assets and blockchain systems can be highly risky. You are responsible for deciding whether use of a wallet, token, or reward feature is lawful and appropriate for you.

Payment, credit, token, wallet, and network features may have additional provider terms, fees, taxes, and risks. We do not represent that cash-out, trading, withdrawal, or any particular payment option is available. Except where required by law or stated at the time of purchase, purchases and fees are nonrefundable.

8. Third-party services

The Service may rely on World, World App, World Chain, wallet providers, payment providers, hosting providers, AI providers, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for their availability, content, or actions.

9. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pixel Potion disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pixel Potion and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where law does not permit them.

These limits also do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

10. Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pixel Potion and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Disputes and arbitration

Before either of us starts arbitration or a court action, the party raising a dispute must send written notice to the other and try in good faith to resolve it informally for 60 days. Notices to Pixel Potion should be sent to hello@mains.world.

Except for small-claims matters, intellectual-property disputes, and requests for emergency or injunctive relief relating to security, fraud, unauthorized access, or misuse of the Service, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its then-current Consumer Arbitration Rules where they apply. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration agreement. The legal seat of arbitration will be Travis County, Texas, although a hearing may occur remotely or in another reasonably convenient manner when the AAA rules or applicable law require it.

No class actions or jury trials. You and Pixel Potion agree that disputes will proceed only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. You and Pixel Potion also waive a right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

You may opt out of arbitration and these waivers by emailing hello@mains.world within 30 days after first accepting these Terms. Include the wallet, account, or contact identifier associated with your use, a reply address, and a clear statement that you are opting out. An opt-out does not affect other parts of these Terms.

Texas law governs these Terms and any related dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law or a non-waivable local law applies.

12. Termination and changes

You may stop using the Service at any time. To request deletion of your account, email hello@mains.world. We may suspend or terminate your access as permitted by these Terms or law.

We may update these Terms as the Service, law, or our practices change. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance, except where law requires another form of notice or consent.

13. General terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Pixel Potion concerning the Service, except for additional terms presented for a particular feature or transaction. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions—will survive.

You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law, subject to applicable law.
